Wayne Marshall OBE is a British pianist, organist, and conductor and has performed with and conducted orchestras worldwide, including the Seattle Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra and Berliner Philharmoniker and has held posts as principal conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica “Giuseppe Verdi“ in Milan, Italy, the WDR Funkhausorchester in Koln, Germany and conducted the first concert of the Chineke! Orchestra, Europe’s first professional black and ethnic minority orchestra. Mr. Marshall is joining the Seattle Chamber Orchestra, and the Fisk Organ at Plymouth Church, in the mighty Organ Concerto by Francis Poulenc.

The program also features the Chaconne by Tomaso Antonio Vitali, in a transcription for violin solo, organ and string orchestra by Ottorino Respighi, featuring SCO's Concertmaster, Brendan Shea, the Chamber Symphony Op.110aby Dmitri Shostakovich and the Adagio for organ and string orchestra by Tommaso Albinoni.

Concert starts at 8pm and a pre-concert talk, w/ Wayne Marshall and SCO Music Director Lorenzo Marasso, starts at 7:15pm. Wine and appetizers start at 7pm.
